Abstract
AIM: To observe the clinical effect of vitreoretinal surgery as a therapy for severe ocular injuries in juveniles.
METHODS: Clinical cases of 258 children diagnosed as severe ocular injuries, who were treated with vitreoretinal surgery, were analyzed retrospectively.
RESULTS: Totally, 196 eyes (76.0%) were functional recovery, 33 eyes (12.8%) were anatomic recovery, 29 eyes (11.2%) were out of recovery.
CONCLUSION: Vitreoretinal surgery is an optimum therapy for severe ocular injuries in juveniles.

摘要
目的：探讨玻璃体视网膜手术治疗儿童复杂性眼外伤的临床效果。
方法：回顾性分析经玻璃体视网膜手术治疗的258例儿童复杂性眼外伤的临床资料。
结果：功能痊愈196眼(76.0%)，解剖痊愈33眼(12.8%)，未痊愈29眼(11.2%)。
结论：玻璃体视网膜手术是治疗儿童复杂性眼外伤的最佳选择。
