  3  结语

  基因芯片技术发展至今已经取得了巨大的成功,且仍然存在相当大的发展潜力。 基因芯片技术打破了以往“一种疾病一个基因” 的研究模式,弥补以往对复杂生命系统的研究总是采用单因素或多因素的分析方法的缺陷,能够充分利用所采集到的大量信息,整体宏观地研究生物体基因的表达及功能。该技术在眼科研究中用基因整体表达分析替代传统的单一基因,将有助于对复杂疾病如早期糖尿病视网膜病变的发病机制的理解。基因芯片在眼科的基础研究将更加围绕临床导向的疾病过程分析,成为眼科疾病重要的诊断工具和寻找药靶的依据。 相信随着该技术的快速发展及广阔应用,必然对眼科学产生更为深远的影响,有利于揭示眼科疾病发生、发展、治疗和预后等各方面的细胞途径以及遗传和分子机制。
